I know it's been a bit over two weeks since I was last here...

Frankly it started off badly. I had an insane allergic reaction to a bug bite on the holiday Monday and my left hand from my knuckles halfway to my elbow swelled up like a shiny red balloon. More anti-histamines and anti-biotics. *bleech* And it's almost impossible to do anything resembling normal with your hands when one of them has zero mobility...

Thankfully, most of the swelling had gone down after about three days, but my knuckles still felt like they had been scalded with boiling water. I still have a couple blisters...

Then, over the weekend, I went home to Bobcaygeon to spend some time with my family. That was nice. I hadn't seen my family in almost a year. My Mom, Dad and youngest sister were pleased to see me and thought I looked great.

I didn't think about the scale the whole time I was at home. We went to the Kawartha Dairy for waffle cones, Dad barbequed in the backyard, we had a few drinks and watched a few movies, played badminton and walked every day over the four days I was there.

I've fallen a week behind in the PodRunner - Intervals challenge, but I'm still in it. I'll just finish a week after everybody else. I'm really enjoying running now. Not that I'm really *running* just yet, but I enjoy that feeling...

I need to really stick to my goals and keep moving!
