Starting to wonder how much I need to learn about nutrition and dieting. Salads and fruit don't make up for the poor food choices I make for my dinners and when I go out to eat.I was watching the biggest loser tonight,and I relized I'm so ignorant when it comes to making good food choices.I don't even have a clue about calories.

I was thinking the same thing when I was watching it too. I need to learn more about the way things are cooked and what that means for the calories. I was glad Julio was voted off though, his face drives me NUTS :P

Learning about nutrition and exercise is a lot about trial and error. You try different things and see what works and what doesn't. There are some good sites that offer a lot of information. The hardest part is distinguishing what is bad information and what is good. I love to read, so I enjoy going to sites like Shape magazine, Fitness Magazine, Oxygen magazine, and even Self magazine has some good articles. It's all about educating yourself and then determining what is good for you and your body. There are even sites to get nutritional info before you go out to eat. I use them to help me determine what I should order. You are on the right track.
