been at my present weight now for a month, not complaining, but have to kick it up a few notches....any suggestions? i cant do heavy cardio do to a physical condition, but any other suggestions for weight loss?

I am still there, sort of. My body is just starting to let the weight go. I reduced my calories just a little bit, and picked up my exercise. I used to do exercise every other day, now it's two days working out and one day off. It helped.

Looking at your weight chart, you've done really well, looks like you went sideways for 2 or 3 weeks but now down again. That's how is seems to go with me. As you get closer to your goal weight it's normal for the rate of loss to slow down, you've got less to lose and the "easy" pounds are gone. For kicking it up a notch I'd suggest just look at ways to increase activity if you can - a couple hundred more calories burned a day adds up over time. Evaluate your food plan and see if you feel any changes are needed, as we get lighter we need fewer calories to maintain our weight. But I think you're doing good and no need to be worried, keep up the great job!

Fibre is a must to keep things moving, so to speak, lol. I make sure I get my fibre each day along with keeping hydrated. So if you aren't getting enough each day you might want to try increasing it. I kept very strict records of my calorie intake to be sure I wasn't taking in more than I thought and tried to keep the intake fairly level each day. I too can't do a lot of cardio due to arthritis and deteriorating disks but I do try to keep moving. I have managed to paint a room and it's furniture, putter in the garden etc. Anything to get some exercise. It looks like you've been doing well, you've had a plateau which is normal. Stick with the calorie counting and you'll get the rest of the way! Good luck!
