So, there's the payoff! Rough rough rough week staying away from the cookies! Had 'em in my hands at times and didn't eat 'em. Over at son's house they have a BIG bucket of cookies grandkids decorated. "Eat this one Grandma" "eat mine" was said more times than I can count. "Just the snowman's head Grandma?" "I used your favorite color Grandma". Nope nope nope! Now to get thru the weekend, funeral. Husband's niece, 29, passed. She had a little girl that will be 2 on Christmas day. Very sad... On a brighter note, grandson has a wrestling meet on Sunday so keeping busy means no time for mindless munching. Next week will be a challenge. We host family, about 25, at our house every year on Christmas day. So I will be making cookies/candy in preparation for the big day. Frankly, I hope to just maintain. All have a great weekend!
