Well I kept my carbs down, but still fighting for the exercise time. I do not want to go out and do any walking (VA too hot for me right now) and I despise the treadmill. I was going to go to the pool a few times, but each time I put on my suit, my family would say "I need" and I never got there. One of these days, I'd like to say - no I NEED, but I know, no matter what I say, I never will. My Mom is tethered to an oxygen machine and really can't do much, the effects of smoking are pretty hard on her now. Her generation didn't know the side effects. It's pretty sad. It's a habit I never even tried, find it disgusting. So how can I, a relatively active healthy person, say no when she needs something. Can't/won't do it.
