I joined WW "officially" last week. I'm logging all my food on the little book you get but was wondering if I should log it here too. I think I'm going to face a time shortage if I do that but I also think that it would make me more accountable to do it both places.

Had weighed in on Sat at 151 and change but then on Sun had a fat fest at a friends World Cup party followed by InNOut so I was back at 153.5 this morning. I'm going to chill a couple days, exercise and see if I can weigh in under last week on Weds (my WW meeting day.)

I've used all of my flex points plus 13 for the week soooo...should I divide those points by 3 (days left in my WW week) so that I stay under for the week? That's what I'm going to try to do. On a positive note, I'm eating more veggies/fruits this week. Not as satisfying as my normal carb binges, but the snap peas I'm eating right now could be pretzels if I imagine really hard ;)

A good thing for me about WW is that I think you start to make food choices better just by volume...when you think about "how much" you can eat for points instead of what sounds good it makes more sense to eat stuff that is good for you.

Need to go to spin class a couple times this week. Also, next week I'm on vacation! whoo-hoo. Not going anywhere really, but my fiance's mom got us a great hotel room in the city for a night. So looking forward to that. We'll mostly go over bar exam outlines, but it will be nice just to have a little space together. Hope everyone has a good week and thanks for the nice e-mails.

Congrats on 150.5! Soon you'll have a taste of the 140's too. I saw your comment on my journal, I'm not doing WW. I've thought about it though. How is it working for you?

I like it so far. Not going to the meetings really, just like the point system. I get 21 points a day and 35 free points a week. I use them for wine and carbs ;) Not too tough to follow. I would like to go to the meetings, but the monthly membership is just more than I can spend right now while the boy is still looking for work. I really like counting the points. After a while you kind of know what the point value is of stuff you normally eat and the flex points allow for the snack attacks or a night out. I think if I kick up the exercise I should start losing a little quicker. I'd love to see 1.5 lbs a week but right now I'm stuck at under 1 lb per week. It's ok though, slow and steady right? Hope you feel better hon. Sorry to hear about the ear ache and your bf's neck pain.
