I was really put to the test this weekend and I must say I passed with flying colors! LOL! Although I didn't log everything I did really well. I will have to go back and log it all in if I can but I know that I definitely didn't eat any sugar or much carbs at all. Saturday I went with the family to Knott's Berry Farm and let me tell you that was the worst temptation I have faced since being on the BFC diet (I am on week 8 now!). It was really hard but I ate nothing but salad, grilled chicken and water all day. I also had a hamburger without the bun. The choices were limited but I made do. Then Monday I went to my brother's for a BBQ. ANOTHER tempting day that I was able to defeat! There was pizza, pasta, fried chicken, candy, chips and THREE kinds of pies! I felt sooo sad but I didn't have any of it. I had a tiny little sandwich and some chips and then I had water and tea and for dessert I treated myself to some strawberries....only a few though. I was really proud of myself. I am really feeling the fat come off but the scale still isn't really showing that much. I have gotten myself back to the gym as well but I don't think that I have been building much muscle so I don' think that the fat is turning to muscle and keeping my weight steady as far as the scale goes. I am not really sure why I can't see the loss on the scale as much as I had hoped but...eleven pounds in 7 weeks is pretty good so I'm not complaining!
