So, today starts the hardiest 2 of my challeges. The other 2 are cake compared to the 2 that start today. I thought about dropping out of the soda challenge and try to break 1 bad habit at a time. So, far I havn't done that yet. I think the fact I cant have junk or soda is actually makeing me want it more. I will be strong, I have to. I have to lose this weight, otherwise, I might as well plan being fat forever;I dont want that. Now is the time, it will get easier.

You can do it! I say go for both goals and just do the best you can - that's all anyone can ever ask of you. I find that sweet tea (with or without lemon or raspberry) really satisfies my cravings for something sugary and sweet.

I just want to welcome you to FS. I agree you want to start out slow. I too am a diet soda drinker, big time.. I have tried to replace that with water. Good luck to you and we are here for you.

My fingers are crossed for you! It really is hard at first, but after not having soda for a few weeks...you'll start to have a lot more energy and you'll feel better!
