Wednesday, September 24, 2008 . . . the Christmas challenge starts, and I officially become a "speed limit." That does sound better than a senior citizen, doesn't it?
Losing weight has always been a struggle. I am a carb addict, and not the healthy carbs . . . the yummy ones (i.e. cookies!!!).
I saw that someone had posted iin their food journal those Austin cheese/peanut butter crackers. I LOVE THOSE THINGS. But if I buy a pack of them (12 packs to a pack, I think), I find that I eat two or three packs a day. So I just won't buy them. My husband bought some made by Keebler; fortunately, they weren't as good but I still ate some.
I am trying hard to cut back on the carbs, and the grazing. After all, I am not a cow!
So I'm preparing my mind for the Christmas challenge . . . a pound a week! Though, I have to admit I'd like to lose more than a pound a week. But even a pound a week is better than gaining or maintaining.
I know this can be done. I do, I do!
