Minor celebration....I managed to STAY at 185 today; it didn't pop back up to 186 or even 187. So, that makes 2 whole days in a row for the 185 weight. Whew.
I discovered something about my digital scale. I always thought you could just hop on and let it run up to the appropriate number. Then it would settle in and when it flashed, there's your weight. That's generally true, HOWEVER...if you ease yourself on it, SLOWLY letting the weight go up, it may either time out at a lower weight or stop adding weight due to the slowness of increase as you slo-o-o-wly ease onto the scale. In any event, it can stop at this lower weight, flash, as if it's done, and voila! you can think you weigh a lot less than you truly do. I managed to get myself down to 177 with that method!
So best method is just like a mechanical scale; get on it all at once and be done with it. If I do that, I can weigh myself 10 different times and still get the same true weight.
The rain finished up overnight, but I'm still taking today off from walking, as I didn't take Sunday off. My thighs are very tired, so I think they'll appreciate a day of rest.
I want to get the OCC boxes finished off today as well as packing up a Thanksgiving package for Mom and getting it shipped. Then, it's off to the grocery store. A few household chores mixed in there should finish off the day.
