No weightloss at present. I've managed to hold steady which is ok considering how much rice I've eaten in the last 2 weeks!

So no drop in weight But my A!c numbers have changed significantly

My a1c in 2021 was first clocked at 11.4% right now it is 6.7%.
Still not good enough but the drop in my weight seems to be helping.

My blood sugar management is doing better as well. Instead of waking up with a blood glucose of 130-140 I'm waking up with 88-110 so that's a plus.

It certainly does motivate me to keep trying at the weightloss--not because I'm going to look any better for it (I won't. I expect that I am always going to have a fat, round face even if I weighed in at 120 lbs!) But because if I can drop the weight to get the type 2 diabetes under control then maybe at some point I can be on fewer medications all across the board? Wouldn't that be nice?

I've reconsidered the goal weight that I started with all those years ago and think that I'm going to shoot for 135-140. If I can hit anywhere in that range at the end of this I would be stoked.

I need to get more physical activity going but the summer heat is making it difficult to be anything other than a puddle (Well, that combined with being in the middle of my now 2nd bout of Covid-19...it gets on my chest and takes forever to leave (I had Long Covid back in April and my cough didn't clear up until mid June....and of course I've gone and caught it again) But I am trying to balance out my intake of food/calories vs. my movement, It;s working I guess because my weight is holding steady.

I wish Fall would roll around soon. I want it to be cool enough to enjoy going for walks again!
