On the subject of bread: I bake my own or buy from a local artisan baker. one slice of the bread I just baked is 202 g. One slice of shop bought bred is 44g (give or take) I eat one slice of homebaked bread and I am pretty much full. I would have to eat nearly 5 slices of shop bread to get to the grams and I would end up eating another 5 just to get full and be bloated (way too much yeast!) for the rest of the day. I would like to encourage anyone who has an oven.. buy stongrounf flour, dry yeast , a bread pan and bake your own bread. Prep time is 20 min or less. baking takes between 30 min to a hour (depending on the size of your pan). You can use an oven friendly pot too. It is very easy and so much healthier.
