In January I weighed in at 260. I wasn't happy and I was lethargic all the time. I decided something had to change. So I stopped drinking soft drinks and eating all bread products. The weight started to come off slowly.
In April I joined fatsecret and the weather started cooperating. I started riding my bicycle on a local bike path 3.6 miles (7.2 round trip) every other day. It wasn't important how fast I went just that I maintained a cadence of 80. I started off slow but the cadence improved my legs and I started to gear up, my speed is much better now.
Yesterday I rode 31 miles at a 16.2 mph average and burned 2400 calories. I stepped on the scale at 229. I've lost 31 pounds total. I'm planning on getting rid of another 29. I haven't felt this good in years!
I'm on my own diet and method.
I exercise in the early morning before I eat anything. It was explained to me that there is a little over 1 hour of vigorous exercise of glycogen in my system after that the body has to replenish from whatever source is available. (fat) After I'm done I've been drinking a protein shake (AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60) but only 30 grams of protein. (scoop and a half). 200 calories.
At lunch I'm eating a self made crock pot concoction. Potatoes, eggs, onion, green pepper, celery and sausage in 10 oz portions. I also eat a banana and an orange at this time, total 800 calories.
That leaves me about 1500 calories for dinner. I try to eat anything for dinner as long as I don't surpass 2500 self imposed limit for the day. It has been working for me.
Hopefully before winter sets in I'll be close to my goal!

That stuff you are using has some junk in it (not to mention cholesterol): Other Ingredients: Protein Blend (Whey Protein Isolate, Hydrolyzed Whey), Cocoa (Processed with Alkali), Natural and Artificial Flavors, Polydextrose, Lecithin, Sucralose, Acesulfame Potassium
