I feel wonderful that I am no longer in the 190s. I have been in that range or higher for sooooo many years. So far, so good. I just keep saying "I am no longer as fat as I was." I know there are good days and bad days for no reason at all..... Tomorrow is my birthday. At this age, I don't care about birthdays... Except next year is my 50th, a milestone. I have to go out to dinner tomorrow night with one family member and out to dinner with another family member Tuesday night. I don't get to see these family members often and it just isn't possible to avoid going out to eat. I offered to cook some absolutely fantastic fancy dishes. But.... they don't want me to go to the trouble. Ugh. I tried to explain that I need get into the weight loss issue fully. They aren't exactly supportive. I think I have different situations with each. One has great intentions of treating me to something special and not realizing the importance of my weight loss to me. Ever hear, "Oh, it's fine, don't worry about it. Never mind what you are feeling, it will be fun!" A nice person but ignoring your feelings. The other, some people don't like others to succeed where they are failing. She gets jealous and will act on it with you. She did this recently over something else. I tried to explain myself about the restaurant issue and she gave me every reason it is impossible to lose weight and how shouldn't even try. She is a wonderful person in so many respects but she purposely sabotages others out of jealousy. I don't know, I hope I am wrong.... Anyway. I wanted lose more weight before figuring out how to eat at resturants. Oh well, I will be patient. Weight loss takes a long time and an excellent plan to keep it off. Thanks for the space to rant. :)
