I know you are supposed to eat slowly since it takes 20 mins for your brain to register that youre full. But i find that when i eat slowly by doing something other than eating while im eating i get tired of trying to eat. I mean its like i just dont want it anymore good thing or not?

We used to be really, really bad tv eaters...Still my family resists sitting at a table. I really believe in sitting down at the table and enjoying the meal...I eat less because I am not mindless eating. When I am full I get bored with eating and I am ready to move on to the next thing. We talk that helps with eating more slowly and also I try to eat my portion and if I still feel hungry then do something else for 10 minutes or so and then decide if I am really still hungry. It helps with my kids too...i tell them wait 10 minutes and if your still hungry ask me again...usually they find something else that interests them and they were just bored.
