This was a rough one but I made it! Got my food all prepped for the week and had a mighty battle with pms. (2 butterhorns and a handful of chocolate chips didn't survive)
I realized that I'm just really tired and not getting enough sleep and that's generally the key that holds me back.
I'm taking a rest day today but keeping my nutrition consistent. I'm honestly still doing great with my Keto//OS.

I think that the stress from these past weeks have just caught up with me. Food is fine, but my workouts are sub-par. I'm still going and moving through the hour, but my weights aren't where they usually are and during a set of deadlifts yesterday I all of the stress and frustration came out and I started to bawl.
That's ok. Today I pulled on my big-girl pants and redeemed myself.
Still taking keto//os once a day and it's still helping with my sugar cravings. I'm SO thankful for finding this stuff. Is it a model that I can continue? I'm going to say yes because it's taken the place of my protein, so for me it's a totally normal thing to do.
I am happy with my place and my progress.

Last week was truly the stress week from hell. Big project at work, training from noon-8pm, the ONLY snowday of the year that the kids are both home and then Thursday we totally unexpectedly lost my brother-in-law! Talk about wanting to eat your feelings! but i didn't! (go me) Kept up with the keto o/s and ate very sensibly.
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! if you're lethargic, gaining weight, tired and even a tad depressed, get thine butt into a doctor, check your cholesterol and have a stress test done! 80% blockage proved to be a killer, even to someone who 6 months ago was relatively fit and active.
oh, and placed 201 in my regional age group for Crossfit's 16.1! (i'm happy with that)
Back to our regularly scheduled program!

Feeling so strong! Lost 7 lbs since my last doctor visit!
Doctor actually asked me about keto//os - of course I told her I love it. She was supportive of it because I'm eating a good diet and exercising as i should be.
cholesterol levels were outstanding and TSH levels are well within normal without meds!! (they were previously 103, serious hypothyroidism)
