Great cooking tip for meal prep!!!
COOKING TIP TUESDAY!
Burgers don’t have to be round!
For easy and fast bulk hamburger and slider prep, flatten the burger mixture out on a tinfoil lined rimmed cookie sheet and broil for 10 min. Carefully drain and flip the meat by using another cookie sheet and broil for another 5-9 minutes. Cut into squares with a pizza cutter and you have nearly 2 dozen burgers ready to go.

Ok, today during my workout my energy was sustained but there was no zip. Like, I could just work and work for hours but at a very low intensity. That's ok...for now I guess.
Started my day with Keto O/S again. didn't get hungry until noon.

hmmm...not quite sure where my last journal entry went...maybe I never actually clicked save. (2am and I forget some mundane detail like that, go figure)
So, i didn't sleep much last night and I didn't drink enough yesterday. Todays workout confirmed that anaerobically I'm a slug, and the back squats made me feel like a big whiny...word I can't say in front of the kids.
Keto O/S as usual this morning and 2 small sausage squares with my coffee post workout.
Time to really get my stuff together.

Ug. I want to eat my feelings and I did have a slice of cranberry bread as a late night snack. Oh well, it was delish. Stayed the course for the rest of the day and had a really strong workout.
Took keto O/S at 8:30 am and it held me over through my workout until 10:30. Had meat and veggies, then keto o/s again at 2 with lunch. Held over until 6pm and dinner was pork loin.
took the kids to the rock wall. I did manage to climb once but ended up belaying nearly the entire time. It's good, but a 5 year old who's out too late and knows it will zap ANYONE'S energy, I don't care who you are!

I think that my weight was way off when I "weighed in" the first time. down 5 lbs? mmmm...not so sure about that, however my BMI DID drop by 1%
I NEED a minimum of 8 hours and if I have consecutive nights of under 8, I can't get out of bed that 3rd morning. Coffee just isn't the new sleep.
I think that this could also be a contributor to retaining that stubborn white fat.

BMI DOWN! YEAH!
It's down a percent from the other week, but I'll take it! I can notice it too. My jeans now require a belt.
Staying the Keto O/S course is working!!
also, i ran on the "dreadmill" today. 2 miles. 2 miserable miles...i hate running. Legs felt really strong in my stride, but i need to get my breathing back under control.
