Love it when the body "pauses" and we get to see the same number over and over.

Work is going well but still trying to get all my accesses (that's fun...). Have a few directions to go in the meantime as I come up to speed so today should be busy but not overloaded. Love having a plan and crossing things off the list. I was hungrier yesterday so ate more volume but not out of bounds. I'm also bottoming out energy wise around 4/430. I'm getting a lot of sleep but not sure about the quality. I wake up feeling good but by end of day, I'm wiped. Will add in a forced walk today after work, cold or no cold, and see if I can push past that and just hit bed maybe 9pm and zonk for the whole night. I should be able to do more than 12 hours awake without being this tired. Oh. And found my next size jeans online for about half price. I wasn't going to buy them until next month but it's basically B1G1 at this point so they're on their way and I can see how close/far I am for them to fit.

So. Good day, good choices, good perspective. And coffee. Not a bad way to start. Have a good day buddies!

The scale wobbled this morning so this was the most conservative weight. Figure that should make for a better number tomorrow lol. Granddaughter turns 8 Saturday so just ordered her a crochet book and hooks. I'll teach her like my grandmother taught me. I hope she likes it as much as I did.

Did good on food yesterday but I think I need a heavier meal at dinner and/or more fat. Did good for lunch (eggs/bacon) but at dinner I was still "searching" and added some cream cheese which helped. I'll do eggs/bacon for lunch then chicken stirfry (I'll add a drizzle of oil) for dinner. See if I can stay out of the cheese a bit today. Still trying to pay attention if anything I'm eating impacts my weight loss (I know fresh pork does). Learning, learning...

Day 2 of new schedule/processes. Gonna be a good day. Look for something good to happen today, peeps! But first, coffee...

First day of work, new number, new routine. Nice way to start today. I meal prepped yesterday for dinners and made up the bacon ahead so all I'll need to do is do the fried eggs as needed. They taste better fresh than reheated. Made chicken stirfry and some baked chicken with roasted cabbage as ready to go meal options along with some fresh pepper strips.

Momma video chat yesterday, we were able to talk for almost 20 minutes before she started to get winded. So nice to see her face and just talk and catch up.

Dad is coming in April for a visit, probably 2-3 weeks hopefully. I think I'll move my office into the bedroom as it gets closer so he can have my office as his own. With my roommate taking the front room (although she's hardly ever here), that's not available for him this time.

So. New schedule, new routine, brain engaged and blessed beyond belief. Today is going to be a good day, peeps! Happy Monday...

Finally! Been waiting for this number for quite a while lol. Officially 30 pounds down since I started this round of being aware/trying to lose weight. Next big target is 170 by 4/1 and hopefully a size 12.

So yesterday, figured out that my Crystal Light has carbs (!) which I guess I should have known before but was considering it a freebie. I use it at half-strength so it's 1 carb per big glass but still. Didn't realize it had maltodextrin in it. It does impact my blood sugar (about 30 points after 30 minutes) which annoyed the CRAP out of me yesterday since I'm trying to be super mindful on the BS front. Curious how water/lemon would impact me so may try that as an experiment. I don't love the taste of our water, even after filtering and plain water on an empty stomach gives me nausea. Also figured out the other day that while the 2 net carb SOLA bread doesn't make me gain, it keeps me from losing the next day. I'll have to use it very sparingly but at least it's an option sometimes.

So meal prep today to make the week easier. I will be clocking in/out for the first time in over 6 years and need to maximize my time. Chicken, broccoli, eggs and bacon are primary, with cabbage and peppers available for a perk me up (colored peppers have more carbs but are pretty tasty).
