I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength!
It is time to begin a healthy lifestyle and lose this extra weight. I want to do this for me. I want to feel better about the way I look in my clothes.
Goals for April:
Loose 9 lbs - I believe this will be one dress size. I will be very happy to see size 12s again.
Exercise more - 7500 steps every day. Hike at least once a week. Possibly start jogging.
Count my calories - portion control - healthy choices - limit late night binging.
If I reach my goals, my reward will be a new pair of sandals and a pedicure!
Let's do this!!!

Things I am looking forward to:
Tie my shoes easier.
Cross my legs.
Have a waist.
Look better in my clothes.
My legs not rubbing together when I walk.
More energy.
Wearing clothes that I haven't worn in a while.

This is the first day of the rest of my life...again. I am not going to ask how or why I have gained my weight back, but will look ahead instead of behind. It is time to gain control of my life and hopefully succeed and not fail. I have further to go this time, but I am determined.

I needed a break. It seems like I was becoming obsessed with logging every food and exercise, weighing everyday and not seeing the scales move, etc. I continued healthy eating and exercise - just didn't log in for a few days nor weigh myself. I am very pleased with the results! Down 3 lbs since my last weigh in! Only 7 bs away from goal #3! :) WooHoo!

1/2 pound away from my second goal. My weight loss has slowed down, but I am still loosing weight. I put on a pair of jeans today that I haven't worn in at least a year! And... no love handles hanging over the top of them! Wow, I can't believe how good this feels!
So, here's the question: Why after you work so hard and feel this good do you revert back to the old eating habits and then gain back all the weight? This is my 3rd time to loose the weight (I'm only 1/2 way right now). What can I do differently this time to maintain and keep the weight off?
