I'm devastated! I've gained five pounds. I don't know where it came from!! I went grocery shopping today, bought lots of strawberries, cherries, fish, veggies and Crystal light for making sugar free drinks. hopefully, I can get back on track and get these pounds to come off. I bought zucchini and squash to try the "fake pasta" recipe.

I could have done better. I did great on Saturday. I had kabobs and veggies, beans, etc. No pasta, no potatoes, no rice. And I didn't really feel like I was missing out on anything.
Sunday was a completely different story. In my family I'm famous for my oatmeal raisin cookies, chocolate chip cookies, corn bread and macaronni and cheese. I baked ALL THREE for the cook out!! I actually didn't do to bad with the exception of constantly licking my fingers while baking cookies. I didn't eat the pasta, the bread or even my own macaronni and cheese. I fell apart on Monday after "tasting" a peice of a cookie.
I'm just going to add another week of phase one to get back on track. Can I have milk shakes? I had one today and it was great. Let me know how you guys did over the BBQ weekend.

I'm terrified about this weekend. I've been invited to four BBQs over the next two days. Where will I get the will power? People have asked me to bake cookies, cakes and macoronni and cheese for different events. This phase one is killing me! All of my favorites are in the DO NOT EAT category for phase 1; Rice, potatoes, pasta, bread. And all of those things will be at the BBQs. I'll let you know how I did at the end of the weekend.

This is getting easier and easier. A few times this week I was tempted to add pasta or rice to my meal. I thought "it's not going to be enough...what am I going to eat with this?" everytime I stuck to my guns afterwards I felt great! I didn't feel like I had missed out on anything at all.
