Survivor Chronicles – Day 6
Still no power. There have been power co. trucks and workers spotted in the area. Things are looking bleak. At least I can live off my own Fat Stores for a while. LOL! Just Kidding.
Sersiously though, this is getting old. But I am greatful that my family and house are okay after the storm. And we will get power eventually...

Survivor Chronicles – Day 4
Well it has now been four days since the Friday Night Storm that knocked the power out. Power company is reporting that they will not have power restored to all areas until Saturday Night. This in 104 degree temps. Yesterday evening was thankfully cooler.
I did make it to the gym yesterday and work because they both have power (I just have no running water or power at my house). Dinner was chicken on the grill. Thank goodness for our friends that live close by that have offered their A/C, showers, kitchen and laundry. I have also been leaving my daughter at their house during the day while I am at work so she’s not stuck with no A/C, running water or way to charge her cell phone.
Will be going to the gym at lunchtime again today and picking up a quick salad to bring back to work for lunch.

My Daughter's dance recital is now behind me. She did such a good job on Saturday, I'm so proud of her.
Now it's back to me. I have let the diet slip but have been pretty good about exercising. Starting today with recording everything that I eat and all exercise. My goal is to burn 1000 calories more that I take in. I would love to get about a two lb a week loss.
