Edamame(soybeans)-- Induction-friendly, yes or no?
I bought em. I want em. Unfortunately I'm thinking not. Help?
They have:
5 g fat
8g carbs
5g dietary fiber
1g sugar
10g protein
I think only salt is used in processing them.

I cheated soo badly yesterday.. in my dreams. Last night I dreamnt I was eating cake, strawberries and asparagus. the asparagus wasn't naughty, dunno why I thought it was in the dream. I dreamnt the cake thing a few nights ago, too. Oh well, I guess if I eat badly in my dreams, I can eat well when I'm awake! :)
Going to try not to weigh in until next Sunday.

Meant to write down what I had for dinner last night because it was particularly yummy. I baked chicken breasts-- seasoned with salt, garlic, pepper, and paprika(was trying something new on the paprika). On top of these I put, in order, slices of Monterey jack cheese (stick them back in the over to melt a little), sour cream, sliced avacado, and bacon torn into pieces. I used to make this occasionally as a treat and usually serve it on a bun, but it was just as tasty without. Didn't fill me up as much as usual, goes to show what those carbs do! It's extra yummy with a dipping sauce of Thousand Island dressing, but I didn't have and and wasn't sure if that was Induction-friendly. I'm thinking next time I might use about a 20-80 mix of dressing and heavy cream.

Okay, after 3 days of hovering around 271, I'm going to probably join a gym tomorrow. I haven't yet because of my worry over my heart palpitations-- going to see my doctor tomorrow first. I've also analyzed my diet and see that I've not been getting enough veggies or water the last few days. I'm also going to cut down on/out the diet koolaid. Of course it may just all be normal, but to stop losing just one week into Induction seems weird to me. I really am hoping it means that all I'm losing is fat now. I'm also thinking I may really just hide the scale until next Sunday. I do want to weigh tomorrow though as my Atkins weeks start on Monday.
I've also been sleeping more and weighing later, which might be part of it.

Can you eat badly and still get dark purple on a ketostick? Could getting dark purple after less than a week mean I'm not eating enough? The ketones come from
my
fat, right? They couldn't come from digesting animal fats? I started getting dark purple on Friday-- When I started testing Monday, I started at light pink and I was at first was getting a shade lighter in the morning and a shade darker in the evenings; now I'm dark purple all the time.
WTF.. my most reason weigh-in is bunk. I haven't weighed in for Sunday yet.
