Doing well. Weight has stayed static the last few days. Somehow I expected that. I guess I knew that since I'd been losing pounds a day it had to end. Maybe we'll see some loss tomorrow. I think if I don't lose for awhile like the last time I stalled a little, I'll try the 1-day carb binge thing.

Another lb.! I know, I'm weighing more often than I wanted to at first, but it's nice to see it going down. Also shows me that I do get over those slumps! I've also been eating a lot of meat this last weekend and I didn't cut out eating nuts even though I was getting back on plan after my vacation.. anyway, I think I've lost more since I've been eating more, which is good.
*edit* Oh yes, I've been meaning to mention-- back to high ketosis(dark purple)! I started seeing low ketosis again only 3 days after going back on plan after my 4-day (semi-planned) hiatus.
Also, Choth mentioned to me that Atkins says you can splurge a little for a day if you're stuck to kick start your system.. I forgot that Atkins does say that, lol.. I glossed over it because I didn't want to think of cheating! Good to know though, if I get stuck again I can eat more carbs but I'll be sure not to eat all the crap I ate on vacation.

Officially over 20 lbs. lost! I don't think I've seen this weight in over two years. I think it may be helping that school is back in session. The kids really keep me on my feet. Also wondering if the cheating last week and then going back on plan helped things along. Don't want to do that agin, though. Too much of a chance I wouldn't get back on plan. I have heard of people doing that, though. OF course, I've also heard the opposite is true, that it's never as easy as it was the first time. I don't really see this as my second time, though. I only went off for 4 days and it was kinda planned.
Off to my physical therapy appointment! I plan to join the gym very soon. It's just been too hot and I needed a pay stub before I join and I couldn't find an old one.

I'm proud of my fiance. He hasn't been doing Atkins as faithfully as me, but basically he eats what I eat (he's made me bacon and eggs for breakfast almost every day this week! :) ) and he's lost 6 lbs.! He doesn't have quite as much as I do to lose, only about 40-50 lbs. We're both hoping to slim down a little before our wedding in June.
We were hugging last night and noticed that we're closer together when we hug! :) I've also noticed that my skin feels a little looser (ew). Also, annoyingly (okay, yes, annoyingly, but can I really be that annoyed by losing weight??! :D) my legs seem to be getting skinnier. If there was any body part that I'd have to say I like the most and need to lose the least weight on (need to lose
some
, but would prefer to lose from my stomach/back first) it would be by legs. My what a jumbly sentence. Really, if it weren't for my stomach, my pants size would be like a size 10. My pants still fit okay around the waist, but the legs are baggier than ever.
Frustrated. Realized last night that the crushed ginger I put in a lot of my recipes has high fructose corn syrup in it. It's made by Christopher Ranch and just says 'ginger' on it so I figured it was cool. Was at the store yesterday and looking at the 'herb blends' from another manufacturer and was appalled at all of the fillers in them-- way beyond high fructose corn syrup.. had whey and other nasties in it. Luckily my crushed garlic, which I couldn't live without, has only a little bit of filler in it and it's Atkins-friendly. It's funny because I've been so good about not eating foods with sugar in the ingredients listing (I know some people are not as stringent about this; they'll eat something as long as it's low carb. I'll probably do that myself further down the road, more towards maintenance, but am trying to be more strict now). Will have to stick to fresh and powdered ginger from now on.

267.5-- still losing! I'm down to lower than I was before I went on vacation last week. Yay! I'm glad I've stuck with it. Eating crap on vacation and gaining a bunch of weight can be so discouraging. I'm proud of myself for jumping right back on track.
I know my 271 from a few days ago looks like a gain, but I never weighed-in after getting back from Connecticut, so it was actually a big loss. Maybe I should just put that weight in.. discouraging though.
