I went out to dinner for my friend's surprise dinner party. I filled up on chips and home made tortillas and a few nachos. I decided not to eat an actual dinner because I wasn't hungry. All in all, I probably didn't do TOO bad, but I'd much rather have been able to stick to my normal food. Oh well... Now off to run!

I will be advancing to the second level of 5K training tomorrow. Today I did the whole thing and by the end I still felt like I could have done the whole thing over! I can feel myself making progress daily and if I want to continue losing consistently I need to keep pushing my limits! I also want to start doing more strength training, even if its just a few squats and sit ups ever day.

I did more 5K training today. Today I felt that I have clearly made progress because suddenly the running feels much easier. I'm still winded at the end of each running/jogging interval, but not nearly as much as before and I don't doubt myself like I used to. I feel AMAZING afterward and sometimes even feel up for doing more, but I always stop after half an hour because I know if I do it too much I'll just get sore and then I'll slow myself down. I'm LOVING this!

FINALLY UNDER 200LBS! This is amazing! I'm sooo happy! It's been soo long since I've weighted this much. I was just worrying that I was gonna blow this because I wasn't really losing anything and I was getting a bit discouraged, but not anymore!

Weight loss has slowed down. I haven't gained, but I haven't lost either and that bothers me because I know that at this weight, I still have a lot to lose before I should reach a plateau. So, I'm going to really push my workouts because I know the food isn't so much the issue. I was running 2-3 times a week, now I will be running 4 days a week. I don't care if I have to wake up early or go out after dark to avoid the heat for my runs. I will also be hitting the gym at work for more strength training. Cardio is what drops the weight but the only thing thats going to keep me going stronger and faster is strength training. I have also cut out soda (including diet as that is all I drank anyway) for the week to see how much progress I make without soda. I really need to drink more water and hopefully lose extra water weight. I also think making some fun new recipes that fit into my daily points will help to mix things up and keep things interesting.
