I put on 5kg in a week while sick back in November, so I've just been taking it easy, enjoying my time (a whole month!) back in Australia and trying to get my health back on track. I was pleased to have gained less than 2kg in the month there, especially as I didn't eat at all well. Feeling much healthier now and I'm actually down to one medication at the moment - quite a change from the bundle I took over to Australia!
So now I'm ready to start the diet I committed to, which is the low carb diabetes diet in Dr Michael Model's book "The 8 week Blood Sugar Diet". I'm not diabetic but my husband is, and we both need some drastic weight loss, so I'm hoping this 800 calorie diet will bring some quick results!
