Had a really bad night, I don't think I slept for one full hour. I am in sooo much pain when I lie down, does not matter what position. Took 2 very strong pain killers AND a sleeping aid before bedtime, as I have already only slept two hours on average for the previous two night. Tried different pillows, different positions, sleep music... nothing helps. The only time the pain dissipates, is if I make my back as straight as possible with my head tilted back. Hoping something changes from now until Monday, as I *have* to be back at work on Monday.

Have you had it checked out by a doc/ physio Chiro?

Thanks ladies. @Charlotte I went to a Chiro for the first time in my life 2 days ago. He did a complete realignment, electrotherrapy and acupuncture needling. Sadly in the last 36 hours nothing has changed even though I am doing the stretches he gave me to and taking pain killers (which I hate taking). The pain is exactly like birth pangs but it just does not go away... crazy. I literally break out in a sweat every few minutes, and walk or stand as much as I can, as then it's not so bad.

I'm so sorry you are going through so much pain when you are literally trying so hard to improve your health.Chiro is good for you in terms of alleviating pain particularly if you suffer from headaches,neck and lower back pain.However,given your history of the type of diet you have been having and also the Covid,I strongly suggest you try seek medical help as well.I think it would be beneficial to have blood tests done to see if your,electrolytes and vitamins are within normal range because if the problem lies there then no amount of chirotherapy will ease the pain.....and since the pain seems to be your whole body and not just along the spine,seeing a physio would also be a good idea.But,whatever you decide I really hope it helps.No one deserves to live in pain❤

Thanks friends. @Nobahle, thank you, what you say makes a lot of sense. To be honest, after all I have been through since Christmas (Covid), I have spent so much unplanned-for money that as it is right now, I just cannot afford anything else. But yes, I think bloodworm will be the right thing to do; sadly that also goes with a doctor's bill. 😰

Are you sure it's a muscle pain and not something else? it sounds like you need to see a doctor?

The Chiro could not tell me exactly what it was, but I am very relieved to say after taking 3 doses of muscle relaxants and anti-inflammatories since yesterday I definitely feel better, and I even slept 4 hours. I think it might be a pinched nerve or inflammation causing spasma. I realised how thankful we should be every day that we are pain free and healthy. 🙌🏻

Im sorry to hear about it your pain. I do wet cupping and it really works for pain, nit pls get your pain diagnosed first by your doctor... All the best... Hope you can get some rest
