Saw a new low on the digital scale at the gym yesterday. I think I'm firmly in the 140's now. I've been exercising a lot more, but hardly ever sticking to my RDI. If I can get my daily calories under control I could probably see changes more than every week and a half. I'm happy though because I know it's actually trending downward. Five months from Saturday is my wedding. I can't believe it!

My bike should be in soon, and after it gets built, I have a goal to ride 500+ miles on it this summer. Can't wait!

My second (third?) job as a graduation photographer is starting up again soon. I'll be thankful for that extra money to help pay for wedding stuff. I also host trivia 1-2 times a week in addition to my full-time job as a Financial Aid Counselor. It's going to be a busy summer.

I have a bunch of races coming up. I'm doing the Reach the Beach Relay thisMmay. It's the first one they've ever put together in Massachusetts and one of the transition areas is my work, so I'm way too excited about that. I'll get to stop in and say hi to my coworkers, it'll be awesome. That's May 20-21 and then on the 22 another 5 mile race. I'll be running 15-20 miles that weekend. Crazy. I love it though.

Finally was able to return to Body Pump last night. Life has not been cooperating the past two weeks and I missed a bunch of classes. I backed off on the weight a little bit last night, but it still felt great.

I was able to run three miles in my Newton shoes, those kill my calves, but I bet they'll be super sexy come shorts time!

My dad got me a road bike for Christmas and it should be coming in any day now. I'm so excited to start riding. I just need the weather to cooperate. It seems so much colder than it has been in the past at this time of year.

I picked up my wedding dress on the 13th, but I haven't put it on yet. I'm going to hold off until two months before the date until I even think about alterations. I have a friend who is a seamstress and she will be doing the alterations for me. She said a month is probably all I need. That gives me four months to lose 10-12 lbs. I think I can do it. I just can't drink any more full bottles of wine like I did last Friday, whoops.

Budgeting is going okay. We're hardly eating out and on the occasional trip to Chipotle we share a bowl which is good for money and diet.

There are places to improve in all areas though, and I'm going to get working on that!

I bought my wedding dress! It should come within a few months so I'm hoping to be down a little bit for alterations.

I've been going to body pump at the gym and I love it. I already see my back looking a lot more defined and my biceps too. I've been going only on Mondays and added a Saturday this past weekend. The classes are at such inconvenient times, but I'd like to continue going twice a week through the spring and summer. I'm determined to look as hot as possible in this dress.

Running has taken a backseat the past few weeks. Time is elusive lately. We've been running around like crazy and eating out far too much while we get the details in place. People looked at me funny when I said I wanted to get married this year and I think I'm beginning to find out why. It's going to be awesome though. I have my dress, we have the place booked and we've got a hardcore budgeting plan in place so we can actually afford everything come September (9.10.11!!) with minimal credit card purchases.

Going strong on reduced cheese and I think my insides are thanking me quite a bit.

I'm so over this Massachusetts winter and I want to get outside and RUN! When it's been dry enough it's frigid and when it's warmer the roads are full of puddles because the mountains of snow begin melting. Spring spring spring! Please????

This Sunday is my birthday, I can't believe it's here already. and Then Tuesday is my year anniversary of employment. Longest ever stretch in a full-time job...that feel slightly pathetic. I'm actually looking for something new, but I'll probably stay in this job at least until the end of the year because I need my vacation time for the HONEYMOON.

I can't believe all that is in store for this year. September itself is going to be crazy. Wedding on the 10th, honeymoon, reach the beach relay race the following weekend and the greenway challenge tri relay the weekend after that. Phew! I'm so excited for it all. And I'm getting a road bike for my birthday, can't wait to add a new type of outdoor exercise!

I've decided to slowly reduce the amount of dairy I eat. Yesterday I had none and today I may not have any either. I'm having almond milk and just trying not to have cheese in general. I love cheese, if I had to pick one, I'd say cheese is my favorite food. I just eat far too much of it. We'll buy a brick to use for just about everything, but when I get home from work I find myself eating slice after slice. I'm not saying I'll never eat it again, but if I want to lose weight, I need to cut down on the real high calorie items. And too much cheese just makes me feel ick a few hours later. Yogurt and cottage cheese are also big staples for me, so this is forcing me to get a little creative, or maybe just fall into different food ruts. We'll see what happens. Not cutting out dairy completely, it just needs to be more of a sometime food.
