I knew I would not do well this weekend. That was part of the problem. In the future I will not set myself up to do bad. I had it all planned that I was going to eat at the banquet we had planned to attend. Looking back I could have made some better choices and still been able to indulge in some cake. From this day forward I will not set myself up to fail or ever make plans to indulge. That is not to say I will never have cake again. What I am saying is that if this is not just a diet but a life style change then I at all times should consider what and how much of anything I put on my plate. Thus because of my choices my weight remains the same. I'm not sad but disappointed that I didn't take into consideration my portions. I could have ate the same thing but in moderation and been great with the weekend. Now I know and it's not really about the past it is where I go from here. I choose to keep smashing!

I thought I would actually reach my goal. That Pasta dish I had last Saturday I believe messed me up. That's ok. I would much rather have 1 lb to lose rather than 15 lbs. (that is how much I needed to lose before Smash Fat!). I'm a firm believer that this diet works. And at times does not even feel like a diet. Keep Smashing Everybody! We all have the tools to reach our goal and with a great supportive community like this one there should be no doubt. We can do it!!!!

It has been a week since my last weigh in. I've decided I will wait until I finish the complete 9 day detox before weighing in again. I did alright over the weekend. My only downfall was shrimp tortellini I made for the familia. I had to have some and it was delicious so I had some more. Then on Sunday I was out of town I packed some fruit to snack on but I did have some roastbeef sandwich meat and one slice of cheese. Which really messed me up. Other than those two meals I have followed the detox phase completely. My workouts have been 60 minute bike ride which burn close to 600 calories. I do this 5x's a week along with 350 to 400 crunches. I did do 50 lunges on each leg Friday and my butt and thighs still hurt. Must work I'll try to do those at least 2x's a week. I'm still excited about my weigh in coming up. I might change my goal and go for more. I don't know how it is with everyone else but me I always play around with 5 lbs. Meaning if I'm 120 I'll teater back and forth between 120 and 125. So I might go for 115 so I teater between 115 and 120 instead. I'll cross that bridge when I get there. Right now my focus is to reach my original goal of 120.

OK, I am really really excited. I feel like I will reach my goal by Monday. If not Reach it be pretty darn close. I haven't been 120 in over 10 years. It is amazing to me that I will have accomplished this without anything other than diet and exercise. That's it. In the past I thougth I could find the miracle pill. Not anymore I know exactly where to go to lose weight and also help maintain. I can't say it enough I am really excited.
ok today's menu was
breakfast eggwhites w/ pico de gallo w/ cherries
lunch black beans mixed w/ diced tomato red pepper flakes and some Italian seasoning to spice it up. It was delicous. also blackberries
snack cherries and approx 9 pistachio
dinner will be a huge salad.

Thursday's menu
breakfast the same egg whites with onions and mushrooms ( I really like it)
snack orange
lunch bag of steamfresh asian veggies
snack raspberries
dinner salad
didn't work out
i will be doing my 60 min bike ride and crunches later today. So far I have switched up breakfast egg whites with pico da gallo. with cherries. I have been working at this extremely hard this week. Going out of town Sunday I've got to keep in mind to make good choices when I'm on the road. I might actually just pack my lunch. The Boys will be at the grandparents for the weekend so I definately won't have a problem getting my workouts in! Keep Smashing!!!!
