The gods of health and fitness were against me today.

My body was really stiff this morning. I might have overdone the walking yesterday, I don't know, but the shower loosened me up and I was ready to go by the time I got to the office. I began my walk and my headphones crashed immediately. So I had to stop and get that re-booted and began to walk again when i realized I was going the wrong way. [For some reason my body decided to go on auto pilot and start to take my old 2.5 mile route.] So I turned around and got back to my start position and restarted my clock.

Thing began to really get into the groove then. Hit my first mile marker at just under the 15 minute mark (yes!). Had a good rhythm going and then my headphones crashed again. This time it was a hard crash that made me not only have to restart the things but re-sync the bluetooth. So I stop my timer and do that. Now my rhythm is all screwed up.

Restarted my time and got going again. Hit the 2 mile mark at 29:59. I am still on track for 4 miles in an hour. Then my music app starts to go bezerk and just playing 2 seconds of a song and going to next. So, I keep walking and reboot the phone. That works for about 5 minutes when my headphones crash again.

I give up on music.

I hit the 3 mile mark my time is 47 minutes. Lost time messing with my phone. I start to pick up the pace and then, all of a sudden, my legs become jelly and my breath becomes winded. "No more!" my body screams. So I end up just walking back to the office and giving up on the last half mile.

Not sure if my body was still tired for yesterday, recouping from that huge meal I had last night, or I just am not ready for 4 mph. Oh well, will try again tomorrow!

So grocery store has ground beef on sale so I bought some for the kids to have beef burgers while I had turkey burgers. It was the family pack so I had a pound and a half left over. What to do with it?

There was one obvious answer ... spaghetti and meatballs. Been really wanting olive garden for awhile, but it is so expensive and so unhealthy. So I decided to make it myself. Saved my calories all day for this (made through the day only consuming 370 calories) plus I walked an extra mile and a half at lunch (bringing me up to 5.5 for the day).

After adding a half bottle of wine, Olive Garden style bred sticks and a cup of tiramisu light ice cream for dessert, the meal rang in at just under 1700 calories.

I am stuffed. Sad part is, this would be considered a small serving of food for me 6 months ago.
