Today marks 1 year ago today that I started my weightloss journey. No doubt one of the best things I've ever done during my lifetime.
I got in another good workout this morning with Chest/Shoulders/Triceps. Also, got a good Monday morning workout with some Plyo Cardio. Working hard to eat right this week and thru the weekend. I didn't do to well last weekend with eating out Fri/Sat/Sun. Hopefully, I can reserve some calories for Super Bowl Evening!

Had a great workout this morning for a perfect 5 for 5 for this work week. Got in a solid Legs & Back workout with weights and resistant bands. Also got in about 30 minutes of cardio via HIIT:
10 min of short interval HIIT (15 sec Jumping Jacks Sprint @25 - 45 sec rest)
10 min of steady state cardio (10 min on Elliptical)
10 min of long interval HIIT (1 min Running Sprint - 1 min rest)
Needless to say I felt absolutely wasted afterwards. I'll need to make sure to take in plenty of water as well as eat thru out the day. I'm not sure if I packed enough protein.

Got in a quick 30 min workout this morning:
5 min of HIIT ( 15 sec Mountain Climbers - 45 sec rest )
5 min of HIIT ( 15 sec Sprint - 45 sec rest )
20 min Steady Cardio ( Running @7mph on Treadmill )
Continuing to drink my water and take in my Protein. Should be able to do a full weight training and Cardio workout tomorrow morning.

Got in a very good workout with weights working out the Shoulders, triceps and biceps early this morning. Finished up with 10 minutes of HIIT (15 sec sprint - 45 sec rest).
I've noticed since switching to HIIT that I've been able to maintain and even increase my weights for different type of exercises. I don't want to drop my running totally but I might try to limit it to once a week and on the weekend. That way I have a good solid day or two of rest before weight training. I can see why it is such a challege to build muscle while losing significant amount of weight. It's very easy to lose muscle mass along with fat depending on the type of exercise and diet.
